Catalysts for vinly-functional silicone polymers

Curing of vinyl-functional silicone polymers (Polymers VS) is effected by a platinum catalyzed
addition reaction with silicone crosslinkers containing silicon-hydride groups.

Catalyst PT- B100, Catalyst PT- B200 and Catalyst PT- B300 are solutions of a highly reactive
platinum complex in Polymer VS. The catalysts are adjusted to the highest possible curing rate.
Increasing of the pot life is possible by addition of Inhibitor 600 or 610, which is available as a
dilute solution of the active substance in Polymer VS 1000 and Dimethyl siloxane. If desired,
Inhibitor 600 or 610 can be delivered in other concentrations.

See technical data sheet for Polymer VS and crosslinkers also.

Catalyst PT- B100, Catalyst PT- B200, Catalyst PT- B300, Inhibitor 600, and Inhibitor 610 are also
available in other viscosities. The products are packed in 20 kgs plastic cans. The shelf life of all
products is 12 months. Upon storage of Catalyst 500, Catalyst 510 and Catalyst 511 there may occur
a precipitate which has no influence on the activity of the products.
